Vialattea Ski Resorts
Vialattea is one of the world’s largest ski areas with hundreds of km of perfectly linked ski slopes, connecting the ski resorts of Sestriere, Sauze d’Oulx, Sansicario, Cesana, Pragelato, Claviere, and the French resort of Montgenevre.
The area also hosted the XX Winter Olympics Torino 2006, for which many new lifts and ski facilities were built. The skiing area boasts a wide variety of slopes for all levels, beautiful sunny snowy expanses, and panoramic runs that connect historic and traditional villages with modern resorts.
The Vialattea area is also known for its excellent food. In fact there are more than 30 on-piste bar-restaurants, most set in traditional chalets with sun terraces offering incomparable views over the surrounding mountains.
The Vialattea skiing area is in Piedmont, in the North-West of Italy, with easy access from Torino, Milano, and Lyon.
