If you are looking for the best of “Made in Italy”, Piedmont and its neighbouring regions are the perfect choice for Italian food and wine. Piedmont is not only characterized by the presence of beautiful mountains and lakes and elegant cities, but also as a gourmet region. Torino, the first capital of Italy and home to numerous Royal residences, invented some of the most famous Italian delicacies and rituals: chocolate, Italian breadsticks, the aperitif... Not far from Torino you will find the land of first class wines and the white truffle: Langhe and Monferrato, recently recognized as a World Heritage Site, and birthplace of the Slow Food Movement.
